During the current lockdown, Warlingham Library will remain open for Click & Collect and essential IT services from 10 -1 pm every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Warlingham Community Library will remain open for business throughout the current Covid-19 lockdown. If you are not sure what books to order through the Click & Collect service – our team at the library will do the browsing for you. Call into the library and tell us what types of books you like to read and we will select a few books for you to choose from.

Warlingham Community Library is heavily dependent on its volunteers to be able to operate and, despite many of those volunteers not being available over the course of the pandemic, the library has managed to remain open for business throughout, at the same time as managing the introduction of extensive Covid-19 safe working practices. This has been entirely due to the hard work and dedication of the library volunteers, the Surrey library staff and Tina Picanza, the library’s Volunteer Co-ordinator.

Warlingham Library now needs more volunteers to ensure that this valuable community service can be kept going. No skills are required, just some free time, a friendly approach and a willingness to help is needed.
If you are interested in working in a friendly environment to help keep the library open for the community, please contact Tina Picanza on 07979 264470.
