Debbie has lived in Warlingham for over 37 years with her husband, Mike, raising two daughters and now relishing being a local grandmother.
Her early career was spent in merchant banks in the City of London and once her children were old enough for her to resume work she obtained a part-time job at Sycamore Court, a complex of assisted-living retirement apartments in Oxted. Debbie became the Manager of the Court a few years later and has just celebrated her 26th year there. She still enjoys and appreciates her job and hopes to continue for several more years.
Debbie loves living in Warlingham and as well as enjoying its community spirit and wishing to contribute to it, she would like to see it maintain as much of its village identity as is possible in the coming years.
