Angus has always lived in Warlingham. He is married to Olive, and they have two sons. Angus and both boys went to the local schools. Olive was a teacher in a local school.
Angus is a Chartered Civil Engineer and, for most of his working life, was employed by London Underground. He was involved in various engineering projects round the network.
After retirement Angus became involved in local activities. He is now Treasurer of the 1st Warlingham Scout Group and Warlingham Christmas Lights Committee; and Secretary of Warlingham Flute Band, Warlingham Yacht Club, Warlingham Probus Club and Warlingham Fair Committee.
Angus enjoys running (a bit slower these days), sailing, music arrangement, theatre and politics. He volunteers at Blanchman’s Farm Local Nature Reserve.
