Michael is married with three children and one granddaughter. His parents’ first home was in Warlingham and whilst the family did move out of the area when he was two, Michael returned to the village with his own family 18 years ago.
Michael is semi-retired, working as a Non-Executive Director and Board Advisor. For the last 35 years Michael worked mainly in the Background Screening sector, having run his own business for 12 years, then working with several other organisations in senior leadership roles. His main interests are playing tennis, if only to keep up with his youngest son, and running (or jogging). Michael is a volunteer mentor with the military support charity SSAFA, helping service personnel transition to civilian life.
Michael is a newly elected Parish Councillor for Warlingham West (2024) and is keen to gain experience working alongside our other Councillors who are committed to making Warlingham a fantastic place to live and work. He has volunteered for the Planning Committee and the Warlingham Green Improvement Project Steering Committee.
