My name is Pramodrai Chotai (Perry Chotai) , and I am blessed to be living in Warlingham. I am a husband to Nayantara , father to Neil, and I have two grandsons. We have been Warlingham residents for over 20 years, and I spent most of my working life in Switzerland working for blue-chip pharmaceutical companies at Senior Executive levels. I returned to the UK in 2011 taking early retirement to join my family.
Since my return to the UK, I decided to dedicate my time to serve the residents of Warlingham. I got elected as District Councillor for Warlingham East, Chelsham and Farleigh in 2021, and as a Parish Councillor in 2023. In May 2024, I was re-elected as District Councillor for Warlingham East, Chelsham and Farleigh, and to the Warlingham Parish Council currently as the Vice Chair.
I am passionate about maintaining the character of our beautiful village, environment, road safety, cleanliness and controlled and appropriate development in and around Warlingham.
My passion include radio broadcasting (currently a presenter at www.ridgeradio.co.uk) golfing, gardening, walking, and visiting different countries and cultures around the world. I have lived by the mantra “Destiny is not a matter of chance but of choice. It is not something to wish for, but to attain”.
