If you enjoy working with children this could be a great role for you. Lively Rhyme time sessions aimed at pre-schoolers, along with their parents, grandparents or carers are popular with young families in our library.

Rhyme time sessions involve singing nursery rhymes and action songs, occasionally with toys or percussion music.

It is fun, interactive and noisy!

Duties involve setting up and tidying away the area, selecting the songs, making families welcome and either leading or assisting with the singing. Sessions are held weekly on a Friday morning so a regular commitment of about an hour once or twice a month is required.

Skills
Enthusiasm and friendliness
Happy, out-going personality and a willingness to take part and join in the singing.
